Age limits for donor eggs
Gametes produced by a person below the age twenty one shall now no longer be used. The accepted age for a sperm donor will be among twenty one and forty five years. The egg donor women among twenty one and thirty five.
Oocyte Sharing
Egg from one donor can be shared between 2 recipients only, provide that at least 7 oocytes on are available for each recipient. No women should be treated with gametes and embryos derived from the
gametes of more than 1 man or women during any one of treatment cycle. If sharing of oocytes is contemplated knowledgeable consent have to be
received earlier than the start of the cycle of retrieval.
