Symptoms of a hydrosalpinx are uncommon. You may not realise your tubes are clogged until your provider checks what is preventing you from becoming pregnant.
When symptoms are present, they are as follows:
- Pelvic discomfort that may develop during or immediately after your period.
- Discoloured and/or sticky vaginal discharge.
What tests will be done to diagnose a blocked fallopian tube?
Tests to check your fallopian tubes for a blockage include:
- Ultrasound
- Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)
- Laparoscopy
