What are the first signs of perimenopause?
In most cases, irregular periods are the initial indicator of perimenopause. Most women’s menstrual periods will change from somewhat predictable to unpredictable. Many women experience the most typical menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness (vaginal atrophy), rather early in the menopause transition.
